ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Partnerships, you play a key role in raising Vélo Québec’s profile by leading cross-functional marketing strategies for all of the organization’s activities: the association, the travel agency, events, and publications.

You play a direct role in increasing participation, revenue, and the impact of our initiatives, while rallying a team and partners around inspiring campaigns.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and deploy integrated marketing plans aligned with organizational objectives; ;
  • Define the growth strategies for events and travel; ;
  • Contribute to the development of new products (events, travel deals, group rates, business offers, etc.); ;
  • Help define the acquisition strategies (participants, subscribers, B2B customers).

Campaigns and Performance

  • Design and manage multichannel marketing campaigns (digital, media, content, field) up to 500,000$; ;
  • Define the communication channels based on data analysis and performance; ;
  • Plan and optimize the media investments (purchases, negotiations, partnerships); ;
  • Follow the key performance indicators (KPIs) and continuously adjust strategies.

Collaboration and Management

  • Guide, engage, and develop the other four members of the marketing team; ;
  • Collaborate with internal teams (events, content, partnerships, CX) ;
  • Supervise the work of the agencies and external partners ;
  • Ensure a consistent experience across all touchpoints (web, campaigns, fieldwork).

Development and Innovation

  • Contribute to the strategy B2C and B2B at Vélo Québec Voyages ;
  • Contribute to the discussion on pricing models ;
  • Optimize the’user experience on digital platforms; ;
  • Oversee certain key initiatives, including the volunteer recruitment campaign.

Finance

  • Manage and monitor the marketing budgets ;
  • Maximize the return on investment campaigns.
DESIRED PROFILE
  • High School Diploma in marketing, communications, or a related field; ;
  • 8 to 10 years of marketing experience (ideally in events, tourism, or nonprofits) ;
  • Proven experience in integrated campaign management and performance marketing; ;
  • Experience in team management and management of external partners; ;
  • Excellent ability to’data analysis and results-oriented; ;
  • Excellent proficiency in French (written and spoken) and a good command of English (some partners are English-speaking, and some of the content to be reviewed is translated for our English-speaking clients); ;
  • Mastery of Office suite, Google Analytics, CRM tools (newsletter), WordPress.

  • The salary offered ranges from 78,000 to 85,000$ per year, depending on experience; ;
  • This is a full-time position, based on a 35-hour workweek from Monday through Friday.
