My pandemic notebooks
2021François Marquis experienced the COVID-19 pandemic differently from most of us. At Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, he was at the heart of the storm. His notebooks, written in «I», plunge us into the daily life of an intensive care unit, with its victories and defeats. This humbling account, both frank and nuanced, gives us a better grasp of the scale of the social issues raised by the ordeal we have been collectively going through since March 2020.
