Montréal, Friday, May 29, 2026 - For reasons beyond our control, Tour la Nuit, scheduled for this evening, has been cancelled.
Until the very last moment, the team from Vélo Québec, the Ville de Montréal and the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal worked together to find a solution that would ensure the safety of the course. Despite our best efforts, no safe option could be found.
In consultation with the Ville de Montréal and the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal, Vélo Québec decided to cancel the event.
The safety of our participants remains our top priority. In these circumstances, given the weather conditions, it was inconceivable to maintain the event without being able to guarantee optimal safety conditions.
Registrants will be able to take part in the Tour de l'Île scheduled for Sunday May 31, using their Tour la Nuit bib.
Further details will be announced at a later date.
