Trail Signage Guide

The Mountain Bike Trail Signage Guide (2023) proposes best practices for standardized signage to facilitate user orientation and better manage risks on mountain bike and fatbike trails.

Appropriate signage is essential to ensure good risk management and a pleasant visit to trail networks for all cyclists.

Trail classification guide

This new guide is primarily intended for mountain bike center managers who are responsible for trail development and operation. It provides tables and analysis grids, with precise criteria, to help you evaluate a trail and classify it as Easy, Intermediate, Difficult or Very Difficult. This classification is essential for guiding cyclists to reduce their risks and improve their experience.

Classification guide for tourist cycling routes

This guide presents the evaluation criteria used to determine the level of difficulty of a tourist cycling route. It is aimed primarily at route managers and promoters. The classification presented in this guide covers routes intended for the following practices: road biking, gravel biking, touring biking, adventure biking and cycle tourism.
