Montréal, Saturday, May 30, 2026 - Media representatives are invited this Sunday to the start of the 41st Tour de l’Île de Montréal at the intersection of rue Jarry and boulevard Saint-Laurent.
Parking is available for vehicles with commercial license plates (beginning with F). To gain access, please contact [email protected] to obtain the access map to this parking area and the badge to place on the vehicle's dashboard.

Starting at 6 a.m. - Spontaneous interview opportunities on the start line
Jean-François Rheault, President and CEO of Vélo Québec, and Félix Dolci, Olympic athlete and spokesperson for the Festival Go vélo Montréal (from 8 a.m.), will be available for interviews. The media are also invited to circulate and do spontaneous interviews among the cyclists waiting to set off.
A gondola will be available for media representatives from 7 am.
7 a.m. to 9 a.m. - Start of the Discovery Trail
The 65- or 90-km route will be a mixed route (open and closed streets), passing through Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension, Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Dollards-des-Ormeaux, Senneville, Baie-D'Urfé, Pointe-Claire, Lachine, Ville-Marie and Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, among others.
*Please note that the Discovery Course starts between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. The start of the more spectacular regular route is at 9:15 a.m.

9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. - Start of the Regular course
This year, the 30km and 50km routes, entirely on closed streets, will pass through the neighbourhoods of Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension, Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie, Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, Ville-Marie, Le Sud-Ouest and Westmount.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the 1976 Summer Olympics, participants will discover a number of little-known sites along the route. to this story.
At the relay, children will be invited to take part in a treasure hunt to collect medals.
11:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Arrival of participants and entertainment at the finish site
In the Jarry Park Village, participants will be able to visit the McCord Stewart Museum, MEM and Montréal Olympique booths, which will feature exhibits related to the 50th anniversary of the Olympic Games, as well as food trucks, the Siboire bistro, a musical performance, a Milk play zone and many other on-site activities.
