The Go vélo Montréal Festival invites media representatives to Tour la Nuit this Friday, May 29

Montreal, Thursday, May 28, 2026 - Media representatives are invited this Friday to the start of the 27th Tour la Nuit at the intersection of rue Jarry and boulevard Saint-Laurent. 

Parking is available for vehicles with commercial license plates (beginning with F). To gain access, please contact [email protected] to obtain the access map to this parking area and the badge to place on the vehicle's dashboard. 

If you would like to have a microwave vehicle on site for a live broadcast, please contact [email protected] to obtain access maps and schedules.

Starting at 6 p.m. - Spontaneous interview opportunities on the start line

Jean-François Rheault, President and CEO of Vélo Québec, will be available for interviews at the start line. The media are also invited to circulate and conduct spontaneous interviews among the cyclists waiting to set off.

A gondola will be available for media representatives from 7 pm. 

7:40 p.m. - Official photo and departure ceremony

  • Alan de Sousa, Mayor of the Borough of Saint-Laurent, responsible for mobility and infrastructure on the Executive Committee of the City of Montreal

8:15 to 9 p.m. - Official start of the Tour la Nuit 

This year, the 23km route will pass through the boroughs of Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension, Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Saint-Laurent.

Along the way, participants can enjoy projections by MAPP_MTL, unique musical performances by Mixbus and a PixMob illuminated alley at the finish in Parc Jarry.

9 p.m. to midnight - Arrival of participants and entertainment at the finish site

Street food trucks, Siboire bistro, live music, Milk Fun Zone, and more! 

Midnight - End of activities
